Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Bermudagrass is a revolutionary grass seeding product designed to fill in bare spots on your lawn. This Bermudagrass seed is formulated to grow in tough conditions, including scorching heat, dry areas, high-traffic areas, and on slopes. The Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair product consists of a combination of high-performance grass seed, continuous release fertilizer, and super-absorbent growing mulch material.

Additionally, Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Bermudagrass includes a tackifier to help reduce seed wash-away and a protectant to help keep seedlings safe from harmful diseases. The product offers a simple three-step process for successful lawn repair: 1) prep the area by removing dead grass and loosening hard soil, 2) evenly apply EZ Seed® so the area is mostly covered but bare ground is still visible, and 3) saturate with water until no more water is being absorbed and the mulch turns dark brown.

For optimal results, it is recommended to plant when daytime temperatures are between 70°F and 90°F with no danger of frost. Additionally, it is important to water the area when the mulch turns light brown to keep the soil surface moist until the seedlings reach at least 2 inches tall.
