The Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix is designed to thrive with as little as 3 hours of sunlight. This expertly crafted blend contains Root-Building Nutrition, a combination of ingredients that helps establish deep roots, enabling the growth of a thick, green turf. As a result, you can build a better, stronger lawn from the roots up.

Suitable for both full sun and dense shade areas, the Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix exhibits medium drought resistance and medium to high durability. It can be used to seed a new lawn or overseed an existing one.

For optimal results, this product should be applied in the spring or fall when the daily average soil temperature is consistently between 60°F and 75°F, or the air temperature is between 65°F and 85°F. The use of a Scotts® spreader is recommended to ensure even application (please refer to the spreader settings on the product label).

To promote successful germination, the soil surface should be kept moist through daily watering or as needed until the seedlings reach a height of at least 2 inches.
