Suitable for both full sun and dense shade conditions, the Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Dense Shade Mix exhibits medium drought resistance and medium to high durability. This versatile product can be used to seed a new lawn or to overseed an existing one.

For optimal results, Scotts recommends applying this grass seed in the spring or fall, when the average daily soil temperature is consistently between 60°F and 75°F, or the air temperature is between 65°F and 85°F. To ensure even distribution, the use of a Scotts® spreader is advised, with the settings provided on the product label.
